Rhona Mitra
Mitra was the live-action version of Lara Croft in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider videogame series. Angelina Jolie assumed the role for the Tomb Raider films (2001 to 2003). Mitra was ranked number. 46 in Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2000. She was Christopher Lambert's love interests in Beowulf. She was Scott Wolf's illicit lover interest on Party of Five, her first big role. Mitra was one of the minor characters in the 2000 film "Hallow Man" as a neighbor who gets victimized by Kevin Bacon. She had a main role in the drama about medical treatment Gideon's Crossing, as Alejandra "Ollie" Klein. The characters she performed in Ali G Indahouse and Sweet Home Alabama were then followed by roles on Stuck on You and Highwaymen. Mitra was Tara Wilson's last appearance on The Practice. She continued her role as a character in Boston Legal, but she went off before the start of the second season. Mitra played the third season's Kit McGraw role on Nip/Tuck in 2005. Mitra then went on to appear in Skinwalkers, The Number 23 and Shooter.In 2008, Mitra starred in the lead role of the action/science fiction film Doomsday as Major Eden Sinclair (sometimes mistakenly named in some databases as Caryn Peterson), and in 2009 was cast in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans as Sonja her daughter the powerful vampire elder Viktor (played by Bill Nighy). Mitra was very fond of her vampire fangs throughout filming. The actress even refused take them off when it became impossible to see. "I set the fangs up the very first day. I thought it was weird that they were in the first place. Therefore, I kept them in throughout the duration of filming, through all my dialogue and everything." Stargate Universe also included her in three episodes.
