Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for several years. Elson, who began her acting career as child actress and model, before becoming a an actress professionally, is famous for her portrayal of Alice Tyler as seen on CBS's science-fiction drama series. Andrea tried out for, and won the part as Lynn Tanner of the ALF popular series (1986). After many years of working on hit shows her departure from the business to raise her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner as the teenager daughter of Kate and Willie in a period when she had been going through a turbulent period. In her retrospective from 2000, People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst of a satcom's viewing audience was a challenge. In New York City in 1969 Elson was raised in a world of traveling because her father was a salesman who traveled. In the ten years before her birthday on the 10th of March, she lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was in San Diego when she met an agent, and the part for which she had auditioned for was awarded. Fusco was in favor of the idea explaining, "ALF can drink beer because he is older than 285." NBC warned Fusco to stop ALF from drinking in front of children as it would be a bad model. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF to be an adult and was able to handle alcohol. In 1995 Fusco was diagnosed lymphoma. It was treated successfully and the condition was stable up to the end of 2019. In June of 2019, at age 75, he passed away from his illness in the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood in New Jersey.
