Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. by the name of Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer who is regarded as a member of the group One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own musical band with 3 classmates. The band was dubbed the White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performances. He was always interested in music but also wanted to work as an attorney, physiotherapist or even scout. He was employed in an area bakery on a part-time basis to support his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. Because of this, his group had to be disbanded. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the band to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which began in the year 2010. In the contest, the group sang songs such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls to win the contest. The group was however placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
